Hello again, all. If you have yet to get everything up and running, or if your launcher is attempting to reinstall ESO, please take the following steps:
In your Zenimax Online folder, you should see 2 or more of the following folders: 1.Launcher
2.The Elder Scrolls Online
3.The Elder Scrolls Online Beta
4.The Elder Scrolls Online EU
5.The Elder Scrolls Online PTS
Please leave the following folders as is: 1.Launcher
2.The Elder Scrolls Online
Please rename the other folders to: 1.The Elder Scrolls Online Beta xxx
2.The Elder Scrolls Online EU xxx
3.The Elder Scrolls Online PTS xxx *
Once you have renamed the folders, please open your launcher, and run a repair. That should resolve the issue. Please let us know what kind of success you find!
*If you have been invited to test on the PTS server, please do not rename the PTS folder.
Please make sure that you are running ESO in Administrative mode.
If the client is once again redownloading, please cancel the install. Once you cancel, click Install again.
This may cause an error to pop up (probably error 103). Dismiss the error, and you should see the repair option.
If you have successfully made it to the repair part of the process, please do not interrupt the repair. When the launcher is repairing, it can look like either nothing is happening, or like the launcher is just restarting over and over. This is normal, and it's all a part of the repair process.
