Who said it is only two online?
The original plan was 5 online, and that's still the plan -- but at launch, we are targeting two. This is quite honestly because we hit a snag and did not want to delay the game as a whole. So, two is more likely at launch, followed by an update that adds players, back to the original plan of five. It felt like the best compromise -- get the game out there, support what we can, and follow quickly with an upgrade.
FWIW, this is why devs cannot always give a ton of detail on games before release -- things happen, things go wrong, things need to be managed and player expectations won't always align if too much information is shared too early. This is exactly one of those situations that we had not predicted but now have to backtrack. And we don't like that.
