ItalyDenim in it's truest form. No bleach, brush, laser or sandpaper for an articificially aged look - this is a piece engineered to wear down and patinate naturally. Its journey starts with the one thing that matters the most in denim: The fabric. Raw, Japanese mid-weight denim, woven from a yarn developed in Aichi, Japan, in the 1970s. Ring spun, as opposed to open end, for a naturally irregular surface, it is the foundation of a long and beautiful patinating process. Today, the yarn is spun from 15% leftover cotton. Thereafter, it's rope-dyed and dipped eight times for superior depth, using a proprietary cold-dye technique to energy consumption, before being woven on looms powered exclusively by clean energy and finally sanforized for stability. Finally, it's cut and sewn in Italy and embellished with our signature metal butons and rivets, cast from 100% leftover metal from Europe. And since we're talking raw denim, it's unwashed, giving it a longer life expectancy from the start. It's denim designed to be worn for years.
