Salut les canards,

J'ai monté mon PC il y a 3 ans avec 2 barrettes 4Gb Corsair Vengeance. Elles étaient vendues les deux ensemble.
Dans CPU-Z il me met "8 GBytes, dual DDR3, 665.1Mhz". Le dual mode fonctionne donc. Au passage je me demande bien pourquoi la fréquence n'est pas à 1600Mhz, mais enfin c'est pas le sujet.
Elles sont montées sur les slots 2 et 4, à cause du ventirad.

J'en ai racheté une exactement identique à un collègue.

J'ai voulu installer ma 3e barrette, d'abord dans le slot 3, puis le 1. Mais rien à faire, le PC démarre, les ventilos tournent, et après 3-4s il s'éteint. Grosse peur la 1e fois!

J'ai bien sûr testé ma nouvelle barrette toute seule, et elle fonctionne très bien. Windows tourne, pas de plantage. Je suppose qu'elle est en ordre. Par contre pas moyen de la faire fonctionner avec une des deux autres. Ni en 1+2, ni en 1+3, etc.

Sans vouloir forcément la faire fonctionner en triple channel, je demande bien ce qui ne va pas.

Tu ne pourras pas fonctionner en triple Channel, ta config est limité au dual, comme la plupart des config grand public.

a priori j'aurai pensé que cela allait fonctionner, en mono Channel cependant. Mais il te faudrait peut être une 4e barrette identique pour que cela marche, en dual Channel du coup, mais je suis loin d'en être sûr... A vous les canards, j'ai un doute là.

Salut, tu devrais tenter une mise à jour du BIOS. Il n'est pas rare qu'il ait des correctifs à ce niveau là ;)
