En faite c'est parce que je l'installais pas dans le dossier x86 de ouindoze qu'il devait pas kiffer.
Ah ça fait plaisir de voir remonter ce topic J'ai gagné ma troisième partie et mon deuxième 15 runes, mais toujours avec un minautaure. J'arrive vraiment pas à dépasser les vault avec des caractères plus exotiques. Là, mon perso que j'aime bien jouer c'est l'OpFi. Une crêpe, mais c'est assez drôle.

Bonjour, je réessaie crawl et j'ai un MiFi (religion The Shining One) bien parti
J'aurais besoin de conseils s'il vous plait :
* Comment gérer les adversaires à distance. Je pensais à développer "Evocations" et collectionner les baguettes, est-ce viable ?
* Est-ce que Unarmed Combat augmente la force de mes Headbutts ? Est-ce une bonne idée d ele développer sachant que mon arme principale est Mace&Flails ?
* Comment exporte les ficheirs de personnage comme vous le faites ?
- Pour les adversaires a distance généralement le mieux est de reculer jusqu'a un escalier et de faire du "stair dance" tu descends/remonte jusqu'a avoir quelqu'un qui remonte avec toi et tu le tues. Développer les baguettes ca va etre fastidieux et a la fin ca sert plus a grand chose de toute facon.
- UC augmente les dégats et la chance de toucher oui, mais bon ca reste bien au début et marginal a la fin, autant bien monter tes comps clé: arme/fighting/invocation/armor/shield
- ca dépend si tu joues online ou en local. Normalement ton perso et stocké dans la "morgue" (meme si il est encore en vie).
Pour ceux qui veulent gagner avec autre chose qu'un MiFi, les conjurateurs spé firestorm sont assez puissants (si votre but est de tout buter) pour peu qu'ils survivent suffisamment longtemps.

Pour les skills ok avec Dodo. Plutot que les wands, monte Evocation surtout si tu tombes sur une ou deux rods sympas qui pourraient faire le boulot à distance
Pour le chemin de la morgue, que je peine toujours à trouver aussi, regarde le bien il est indiqué en jeu quand tu cliques sur le bouton d'export de perso. Ou fait une recherche Windows "morgue", à moins que tu sois cataphile tu ne devrais pas en trouver des masses

Et invocation avec the shining one c'est vraiment fort. Apres je pense que mace&flails est devenu bien faiblard comparé a hache depuis que les haches tapent sur zone

Selon moi, la hache, c'est devenu la meilleur arme de càc depuis que ça tape sur 7 cases. En 1v1, c'est un peu moins bon, mais on est rarement en 1v1 dans dcss.
Euh, pour les persos à distances, je te conseille de prendre une arbalète (triple crossbow) avec ton MiFi. Ça découpe les bonhommes et avec ta hautre strengh, tu tapes pas si lentement que ça.

Merci pour ces réponses. J'ai trouvé quelques artefacts/objets sympas et des baguettes puissantes (haste, boule de feu, désitégration, ...) d'où le souhait de Evocation. Je ssavais pas que Inovcation servait beacoup avec TSO
Autres questions :
* est-ce qu'esquive est utile avec une armure lourde (j'ai l'impression que non) ?
* ou stocker mon équipement "à garder pour plus tard" ? Au temple du niveau 5 ?
* le problème des haches pour moi c'est que :
- les haches à deux mains sont séduisantes et je manque bien trop de self-cotnrol
- les hydres ont tendance à devenirs taquines quand on leur coup des têtes

Je vois pas tes skills, mais voici mes quelques propositions pour ton perso.
Max Armor et Fighting. Si tu trouves une bonne plate armor, enfile là. Trouve rapidement un bon Demon Whip que tu iras bénir sur un autel de TSO pour avoir un sacred scourge sacrément solide en late (et que tu pourras enchanter avec tes scrolls).
Pour tes questions, je trouve que l'esquive est toujours utile, même si la maxer peut parfois utiliser de l'XP qui aurait été plus utile ailleurs.
Ensuite, avec les changements au niveau du stuff, tu n'as plus trop besoin de stash, les mobs ne ramassent plus rien et tu ne peux plus perdre ton stuff par du feu/du gel. Attention aux jelly qui peuvent tout bouffer si tu es dans le niveau.
Pour les axes, je trouve que c'est pas trop un soucis les hydres. Tu peux les niquer avec les wand, et puis arrivé à ce niveau, y'a toujours une axe voir une épée longue de feu qui peut suffire à les démonter.
Je mets mon dump d'un MiBe de TSO qui monte à 30 d'EV avec une Crystal Plate Armor. Ça peut vraiment être utile de dodge les attaques.

Le perso de Gigax c'est le fruit de longues heures de grind (quasimment 9 skills a 27), pour un premier run, et en tout cas au début, fait simple (bon et avec 3 en int tu peux quasiment oublier la magie).

Bah les conseils que je propose sont adaptés à son personnage. Je montre pas le dump pour les skills ou pour le stuff, mais simplement qu'avec 27 en dodging, même avec une des armures les plus lourdes du jeu, on peut quand même atteindre un score respectable en EV.
Après, les firestorm et controlled blink, c'est pas avec ça que tu gagnes une game. Quand le perso en est là, c'est déjà fini.
Je suis sur un petit run toujours en MiBe et je sais pas trop où aller... J'ai fini le donjon principale, lair et orcs, le problème, c'est qu'en résistance j'ai pas grand chose. Pas de rPois et c'est galère, j'ai voulu commencer snake ou slime, mais c'est chaud !

Slime il faut se mettre dans la tête que c'est plus du late game (bon du early late game certes, mais tout de même) : bref tu oublies, surtout qu'il y a pas de loot avant de flambiser la royal jelly.
Snake sans rPois, ça sent clairement mauvais : tu arriveras sans doute à vider les premiers niveaux (parfois peut-être avec quelque sueurs froides), mais le risque me semble élevé pour un gain pas si énorme. En plus les dévs arrêtent pas d'introduire des nagas et serpents supplémentaires, j'ai l'impression que ça devient de plus en plus tendu. Et le dernier niveau sera juste injouable.
Non à mon avis la cible est toute trouvée : tu dois vider Swamp, qui pose moins de problème sans resist. Fais simplement gaffe aux hydres (n'hésite pas à utiliser Brother in Arms surtout au dernier où tu en auras un paquet)

J'ai fini snake en trouvant un anneau rpois dans snake justement, et je viens de me faire démonter par royal jelly à l'instant J'ai pas su gérer ce combat entouré d'autre montres comme d'hab... Merci pour le conseil en tout cas, putain je suis déçu !!!

Je viens de découvrir ce lien (en anglais), qui doit être pris comme une liste de conseils très utiles et à propos, dont certains détails que je découvre, par exemple
Déjà que j'ai appris il y a quelques mois que le temps requis pour monter/descendre un escalier était de 1.5 (qui a expliqué la mort de mon vampire durant un tournoi dans le dernier étage des Vaults face à une tentacled monstruosity, cette partie je l'ai encore au travers de la gorge), on ne cesse d'apprendre des choses dans DCSS.Energy randomization. In Crawl, for monster movement only, there is a random chance that the monster movement will happen 10% faster or slower. These 10% fasters and slowers add up, and eventually the monster will fall behind a tile or advance an extra tile. (If you see one happen, the other is likely to happen again soon, due to the energy randomization going in the opposite direction.) This also applies for opening/closing doors, but it doesn't apply for the monster attacking or casting. If a monster suddenly gains or loses ground on you, this is probably why.
Donc, n'hésitez pas à y faire un tour, ça ne peut être que bénéfique à mon avis.

Ah tu savais pas? Je suppose que c'est pas forcément évident quand on le sait pas déjà, mais c'était un plutôt gros changement au moment où ça a été implémenté. Avant tu pouvais pas esperer échapper un ennemi aussi rapide que toi qui est déjà au cac, la seule option (hors consommables) c'était du pillar dancing jusqu'à avoir suffisamment de vie pour esperer le combattre. Mais maintenant il y a généralement moyen d'arriver à avoir créer un espace suffisant pour prendre un escalier, quitte à se prendre un coup ou deux.
Edit : mmhhh j'arrive pas à retrouve la version où ça a changé. Ça a peut être toujours été le cas du coup (enfin depuis la 0.5 où j'ai commencé), j'avais le sentiment d'un gros changement à ce niveau là mais c'est peut être quand je suis passé de Nethack à DCSS.

Mais d'avoir une info claire comme celle-là change pas mal de choses (enfin en vérité pas grand'chose, mais ça explique des situations)

Un type sur reddit qui dans son run vient de vider 15 Ziggurats. Il explique qu'en gros il a vidé une trentaine de potions de beneficial mutations.

I lost two armor slots and picked up wild magic 3, so I was forced to use two forms of wizardry to keep everything cast-able. I quaffed a few more inside the zig and my final one was mutation resistance 2 (fitting). The final list is down below. The final zig wasn't too hard. I got sap'ed a couple of times, but I figured out a trick: from the the little nook at the end of the level I could evoke a fan of gales (which clears the area), read a scroll of fog, cancel my necromutation, quaff a pot of cancellation, and recast necro before being slaughtered. This also works on jelly levels (level 27 was jellies) to channel mana (stupid eyes of draining). I think level 24 was mummies but it was easy. There was only one FIRE level in the whole run but it was a big level and I was scared (I only had rF++ at the time and I had to swap out my cloak to bump it up). I didn't memorize (or need) Death's Door or Borgnjor. Several people thought that was weird but it worked out fine. I used my new favorite amulet - STASIS - for the entire run (that's right, no haste, no blinking, and no teleporting!). It was GREAT. Chaos attacks only did good things like give me might and agility. Of course, when I was using Stasis I couldn't use Clarity, so the CBoE was tricky -- I had to use the autumn katana while channeling (you can't let yourself get confused in lich form). Petite anecdote : ce matin dans le train un type vient me voir alors que je taquinais du Demonspawn de Xom dans DCSS. Il ne connaissait pas, mais sentait bien que c'était un roguelike "à lancienne". Il me disait jouer à un fork d'Angband (pas bien compris lequel, j'émergeais tout juste) en mode console, en pensant être le seul au monde à jouer à ce genre de chose. Rien d'exceptionnel, mais marrant.

Non, justement il me faisait la remarque, je lui disais que DCSS livrait des tiles d'office très lisibles donc que ce serait du vice de jouer en ASCII. J'ai essayé 2-3 trucs avec la gargouille et mon meilleur résultat ça a été avec gargoyle fighter et Qazlal comme dieu, je me suis dit que ça rendait très résistant et c'est le cas, en plus en montant un peu les invocations ça permet de balancer des upheaval assez efficaces (ça m'a sauvé le cul plusieurs fois). Les gargouilles étant immunisées au poison je me dis que cette fois je vais pas me faire avoir comme avec mon minotaure.
En effet j'me suis pas fait avoir pareil : je rentre dans spider nest tout jouasse en rigolant à l'avance, pensant au poison inoffensif des araignées. Je zigouille une quinzaine d'araignées de diverses sortes en tapant dans le tas et en laissant le passif de qazlal faire du dégât... et puis deux coups d'orbes de destruction venues d'une Orb Spider, le SHield donné par le passif de Qazlal a pas suffi.
Vous en pensez quoi, est-ce que ça semble viable comme choix de race/classe/dieu ? Comment se prémunir contre les dégâts des sorts de conjuration type orb of destruction ?
