    Si effectivement la mécanique spécifique de la classe modifie les utilitaires en fonction de quel héros tu canalises, ça va être très différent de tout ce qu'on connait. Et probablement même pas comparable à de l'ingé/élem.

    Un résumé écrit sur le mode stronghold.

    Je rejoins l'avis de pas mal de commentaires : le mettre dans la même rotation que les conquests, j'aime pas.
    Je ne sais pas combien de temps ça met pour créer une carte et l'équilibrer mais je pense qu'ils auraient dû faire 3/4 cartes dans ce mode de jeu et faire une file d'attente spécifique.
    Par contre, si ils ajoutent le mode de jeu dans la rotation des conquests, ça veut dire qu'on ne sera pas obligé d'avoir l'extension pour y jouer (ou alors, ça va foutre le bordel).

    Même s'ils font qu'une seule map (on peut espérer qu'elle soit bien faite au moins) ce serait complètement stupide de la laisser dans la même file que le PvP actuel.

    Guardian: Longbow: They are trying to put a “stance” on it, and it will change the way your skills work based on which stance you’re in.
    Here are the skills:

    1. Puncture Shot (DPS Stance): Fire an arrow which pierces enemies, damaging them and causing vulnerability.

    Je mets à jour le thread par rapport aux infos qu'on a eu, je relaye les notes de Dulfy, j'ai la flemme de traduire.
    C'est surtout pour avoir une trace et pas avoir à chercher sur dulfy.

    Première présentation, gameplay global :



    Map Design/Outposts

    • With expansion we reached a high point in GW2 point design. We went through many stages – release, Southsun Cove, Dry Top, Silverwastes.
    • We found map wide objectives working really well so all the new maps will have this.
    • This map is about Pact fleet survivors so during daytime you build defenses, capture areas, and gather supplies to prepare for the night Mordrem assault.
    • In Queensdale for example only half the events were Queensdale themed (humans vs centaurs). Our new maps have events themed with the map more.
    • Different areas of the map have different sub-factions and characters represented by Outposts. These are centralized locations on the map where you know there will be content.
    • Claiming an outpost allowing you to control it for an hour or more, give you more a permanent feel.
    • Outposts allow individualized stories that allow you to contribute to the map wide objectives.
    • Something we really try to drive with outposts are the character casts – we focus on telling stories with smaller casts of characters that persists through story. You will see the same characters over and over again and learn their stories. Characters you see in one map you may see again in another map.
    • Mordrem Belcher – New creature that spawns out of the ground and spew out green bile.
    • Event shown where players can grab rifles from a high vantage point and snipe the Mordrem Belchers down below.
    • As you do more events around an outpost, you will unlock new things such as waypoints, adventures, resource farms etc.


    Adventures

    • Adventures are found on the map with their own icons like POI/Vistas etc. It is an evolution of the Hearts. Adventures are meant to be challenging experiences – require you to change the way you to play or play well.
    • Examples of adventures including shoot gallery, jumping puzzles, races.
    • They are basically personal challenges that are repeatable and there are leaderboards for them. As you progress in the masteries system, you will gain new abilities that make adventures easier.
    • Example adventure shown – using a flamethrower to kill mobs/vines. This particular adventure require a certain amount of vines to be torched within the time limit to win.
    • Getting good at this adventure requires quick reflexes, good memory of the vine locations, and avoiding the Mordrem trolls that are trying to disrupt you.
    • Since adventures are challenging, you can click on a X button on the UI to restart it immediately rather than having to run back to the start point and start it from the beginning.
    • We focused on fewer maps (with the expansion) but each map is packed with tons of content.


    2ème présentation : Système de Maîtrise



    Masteries
    • Back in the Verdant Brink map, same map as last week’s POI.
    • Earn mastery points by finding stuff on the map (i.e. mastery orbs like the skill point orbs) , from stories, adventurers etc.
    • Gliding mastery – updraft exists in the map that will shoot you up higher if you have the mastery.
    • You get a mastery point for simply entering the map.
    • Some of the Mastery system can be used in old Tyria like unlocking collections that eventually give you a precursor.
    • There is an endurance bar for gliding, once that bar depletes, you fall right off the sky.
    • Advancement in the gliding mastery give you things like Thick Wings that allow you to fly further with your glider.
    • There is a delay when you jump off before you can deploy the glider.
    • Bouncing Mushroom mastery allow you access to areas that you cannot get to otherwise. Some events you cannot get gold unless you have the mushroom mastery. There are speed mushrooms that help you with races and healing mushrooms that help you with certain contents. Some mushrooms will even help you with skill recharge. The goal is to give you something in the world that is a content tool rather than giving you another hotbar.
    • Masteries will also help you learn foreign languages and unlock secret areas.
    • Masteries will help you with harder group content. There will be some difficult fights that might be unbeatable unless you or your group have certain masteries unlocked. Certain races for example will teach you how to pierce Mordrem armor if you have the right mastery.
    • You can expect new Mastery lines and Mastery abilities to be added after Heart of Thorns as well


    3ème présentation : sPvP, le mode Stronghold


    General Info
    • Will there be a separate queue for stronghold? No it will be added to unranked and ranked .
    • Map will only support 5v5 right now unless you do custom arena.
    • Consequences to dying – Respawn times will stay consistent but the enemy team can take your supply if you die (your supply barrel icons are visible to the enemy). This is the only way you can get more than 2 supply per player.
    • When we had two lanes that meet in the middle, they are stagnant in the middle. The NPCs would just push to each other and die.
    • We might see new builds in stronghold like permanent stealth builds to stealth doorbreakers and heroes.


    Supply & NPC
    • You spawn with 1 supply. It give your team a gambit to spend the supply right away on a doorbreaker or archer. You get a barrel icon on your head when you spawn to tell you that you have supply.
    • We have seen teams open up using 5 doorbreakers and completely go offense while other teams use a 3-2 strategy for example.
    • Doorbeaker’s objective is to bring the enemy doors down. Archers can help kill the enemy NPCs and deal small dmg to gates. Doorbreakers are extremely vulnerable to enemy NPCs who can one shot them.
    • You can go to the supply depot in the middle of the map to acquire additional supplies. You can get a maximum of 2 supplies and the channel to grabbing supplies cannot be interrupted by damage but can be interrupted by Crowd Control.
    • Doorbreakers do not do any damage to players, they just run to the door to throw the bomb. Archers can do damage to players but it is very small. Doorbreakers can be killed or blinded by players.
    • Archers deal massive damage to guards – 25% per shot to guards.
    • Defensive NPCs get stronger as you progress deeper inside the base but they can still be soloed.
    • Players cannot deal damage to gates. In previous versions when players could damage the gate they just sit there and bash the door turning the game into PvGate.
    • Lots of objectives on the map, so there are lots of decisions to be made – should we man the treb, should we run supply, should we go for the hero, should we push?


    Heroes

    • 30s window to let you know where the hero will spawn. 10s channel to spawn the hero.
    • Heroes can give players a proximity buff – Hero’s Buff – 50% damage reduction and 50% reduction to condition duration
    • Heroes do not deal a lot of damages to players and deal slightly better damage than archers to doors.
    • His super skill can be unleashed on the Lord’s room – deal 25% damage to all the elite guards and lord in addition to knocking them down. This skill can be interrupted by CC.
    • Map is themed, one side is Knight themed and the other is Pirate themed.


    Lord
    • Lord deals massive damage and really need a team to take them down.
    • Lords in this map have a downed state, to kill them you need to spike them. All the support stuff that works on downed players work on the downed lords.
    • The Red lord is named after Josh Davis, his name is Davis.


    UI/Score
    • The UI at the top show you the health of your outer gate, inner gate, and Lord’s HP
    • Killing players give score, killing defensive NPCs give score, spawning Heroes give score but spawning NPCs do not give score. Killing the enemy Lord will win you the game.
    • The time limit per match is 15 minutes.


    Treb
    • Can be used to defend against NPCs – enemy doorbreakers and archers for example.
    • Can be used to control the supply depot in the middle.
    • All the buildings can be destroyed but you cannot damage the door.
    • Sitting on the treb all the time doesn’t make sense and can hurt your team at times.

    Overview
    • The Desert Borderlands Map will be replacing the old Borderlands map (Alpine Borderlands) when the expansion releases and we might reintroduce the old map in a rotation or tournament.
    • New event in the center of the map.
    • New tower and keep layouts
    • New objective type called shrines
    • New siege weapon


    Aesthetics and Design
    • General theme of the map is a desert but that is not all that is to it. in the desert you can find entryways that lead to the underground keep – fully subterranean layered environment.
    • Center of the map is a lush oasis full of dinosaurs, tall trees, and dinosaurs.
    • One corner is spooky themed with undead lich
    • Canyon system in one part of the map with walkways going up and down and a keep built deep into the walls of the canyons


    Objective Design/Terrain Variation
    • Normally when you are defending a gate the defenders have to stand in a line on top of the gate. It is pretty hard to defend as the attackers can see where you are are. Now we have added more pathways to surround the keep/tower gates so defenders have more space to defend and attackers have to get under you to attack the gate.
    • Tower Design: Current tower give you points and allow you to treb enemy objectives. However, enemies can just run circles around it and attack from any side. New towers are designed to take advantage of their terrain and there are things like mountains on the sides to prevent you from attacking there.
    • Owning objectives in this map is very important, owning keeps/tower allow you to get to places on the map faster than running all the way.
    • Map has a greater depth of play – there are narrow chokeholds and more space for players to play on different layers with hidden paths and secret passages. People who play on this map learn this map and are rewarded with the knowledge of getting through the map faster


    Keep and Shrines
    • 3 keeps in this borderlands map like existing borderlands map. Air, Earth and Fire Keep.
    • There are 3 elemental shrines surrounding each keep. They can be claimed to provide elemental bonuses to defenders.
    • Shrines can be captured by attackers to disable them from usage by the defenders.
    • Shrines will also grant a 5 minute blessing buff when you interact it that give you movement speed, 10% damage bonus etc if you own the shrine.
    • Shrines are soloable objectives.
    • Shrines will also grant a 5 minute blessing buff when you interact with them (regardless of who owns the shrine) that give you movement speed, 10% damage bonus or damage reduction or increased critical strike depending on the shrine.


    Air Keep
    • Capturing the first air shrine will activate jump pads on the canyons surrounding the keep allowing defenders to escape or flank attackers
    • Capturing the second shrine will activate Bird statues on narrow passages, bridges and top of staircases. These are wind turrets that will try and blow players off periodically. Attackers can use stability or dodge through these. A lot of zergs are mindless and will run blindly towards them and get knocked off.
    • Capturing third shrine will allow your side to not take any falling damage while in the canyon surrounding the keep. Coupled with jump pad you can boost yourself to the top of the cliffs and jump down to surprise enemies.
    • Air keep is Guarded by the Tengu Lord. Has skills like where he will jump up in the air and create a wind prison, fire projectiles, teleport around and knock players around. The Lord now matters in a fight and can do some serious contributions.
    • Bird statues also exist in the Lord room, they are not tied to the shrines but will blow wind periodically to knock off attackers.


    Fire Keep
    • Fully underground keep with lava everywhere
    • First shrine will activate an altar in the center of the keep that will spawn inferno egg periodically. Player interacting with the egg will turn into Inferno Hounds that are super tanky with increased health, power, toughness, and can leap into the sky to unleash fiery destruction on enemies.
    • Second shrine will activate gargoyle statues all around the cavern where the keep is at that will launch fireballs at enemies.
    • Capturing the third shrine will grant your team fire immunity, allowing you to walk on lava all around the keep to use it as a shortcut or pull enemies to it. You can also use lava pools as portals to dive in and out of the keep (there is one lava portal around the outside and inside of each gate of this keep).


    Earth Keep
    • Asuran complex ripped apart by earth elemental forces
    • First shrine will give your team rock walls. They are buried in the sands of the canyon surrounding the keep. When enemy invaders pass through these narrow canyons, the walls will spring up and block their way forcing them to take a longer and maze like route.
    • Second shrine will spawn earth turrets at chrokepoints along the maze. They pulse an AoE cripple effect.
    • Third shrine will grant you sandstorm – allies are permanently stealthed while in sandstorm but you will be visible once you start combat.


    Towers – Mage College
    • Guarded by Mage Lord, she will uses a lot of AoE skills
    • Big tower surrounded by a village


    Towers – Ogre
    • Ogre Lord is a thief, has lots of stealth abilities


    Towers – Charr
    • War Depot guarded by bunch of chars. Lord is a big charr with a big hammer with lots of CCs


    Towers – Lich
    • Lich Lord will pull conditions off himself and apply to random players. Also apply AoE explosion damage to random players forcing them to get away from others.


    Oasis Event
    • This event occurs every 3 hrs, the Oasis event in the center of the map occurs. In the center of the oasis is a golden temple with a huge energy weapon. You will need to recover energy cores from nearby Dinosaur wildlife to turn them to three Priory camps nearby to be able to charge up the weapon (any team can turn cores into any camp, it is not color coordinated)
    • Once the weapon is charged, it fires into the sky repeatedly and land in every enemy objective. This will gradually destroy the outer gates of every enemy objective. Towers only have one gate while keeps have two.
    • This offer you a comeback mechanic if you lost all the keeps and towers as this give you a chance to get them back if you manage to win the Oasis event.
    • The dinosaur wildlife containing the cores are not hard to kill so you can do this event with a small havoc squad before the big zerg arrives.


    Shield Generator – New siege weapon
    • This new shield generator has the range of a arrow cart. It is the first control and support siege weapon.
    • First skill is Force ball that smash into enemies, knockback enemies caught in it and bounce around a couple times. With the stability changes the bounce will help soften up the zerg.
    • Second skill is a Force wall – will block off sections and prevent enemies from passing through. You can use a couple of these to make a chokepoint or spawn them in the middle of the enemy zerg to split the enemy group.
    • Third skill is Force Dome – huge projectile dome that will block incoming projectiles from other siege weapons (including other shield generators) and provide stability to everyone inside.

    Pourquoi ?
    Trop fréquent ? Perso j'avoue que c'est ce qui me gêne le plus. Le serveur qui a la plus grosse équipe de nuit recappe tout au début de la nuit, après ils ont la nuit pour tout fortifier en mode bunker allemand.

    Pour le reste j'attends de pouvoir jouer cette map, ça va être drôle.

    Une vidéo de meilleure qualité sera sûrement postée par arenanet mais en attendant :


    On voit à 2 reprises un gardien avec un arc long, autant dire que c'est plus ou moins confirmé.
    Regardez à 2:18, vous verrez un charr en armure lourde avec un arc long et sous égide.
    Sachant que personne autour n'a de buff et que c'est une mécanique propre au gardien d'avoir l'égide hors combat, ça me parait assez évident qu'on aura un arc long en gardien.
    Sur reddit, quelqu'un l'a vu à 51sec, le charr dodge et fait un éclat de lumière (propre au gardien) avant d'attaquer à l'arc long.

    Selon un article chinois, le craft de précurseur, c'est du mawdrey en plus chiant.
    Il faudra faire des collections (comme grawl, krait, etc) pour débloquer le premier palier.
    Ensuite il y a un premier craft d'un "sous" precu.
    Puis il va falloir courir partout pour rencontrer des experts qui vont demander de craft certains éléments.
    On obtient une recette pour craft un second "sous" précu.
    Il faudra par la suite faire des events (world boss je suppose, la trad est pas claire) ce qui nous donnera un précurseur spécifique qui a la tronche du légendaire sans les effets. Cette arme peut être vendue.

    Enfin, on transforme ce précurseur en légendaire via le système actuel qui sera légèrement revu pour les nouveaux légendaires.
