    Il manque surtout des boitiers, à l'instant T. J'étais parti pour l'acheter ce matin, mais sans boitier, bof. Et j'aime pas le boitier officiel.

    Whether we were attempting to stream a 4K video or use a downloaded file, we never got a smooth, workable 4K experience, either in Raspbian Buster or LibreElec, an OS that runs the Kodi media player. Several H.264 encoded videos, including Tears of Steel, did not play at all or showed as a jumble of colors. Even the sample jelly fish videos that the folks at Kodi recommended for my testing appeared as still pictures with no movement. Clearly, there’s a lot of optimization that still needs to be done both on the OS and software side to make the Raspberry Pi 4 capable of playing 4K video.

    OSMC prépare aussi une mise à jour. Pour le 4K et HDR, ils disent qu'ils faudra attendre Kodi 19... fin 2020.

    Et l'annonce de LibreELEC est ici, même conclusion : faudra attendre.

    Mais à ce tarif, j'ai l'impression qu'on commence à chatouiller d'autre boards plus performants (mais sans l'écosystème Pi), je me goure ?

    Ceci dit les anciens modèles demeurent toujours très viables en fonction des utilisations.
    Ça ne fait qu'augmenter le champ des possibles au fil des enrichissements de la gamme.

    C'est une impression de béotien, mais si ils perdent l'avantage coût c'est mort. Tu trouves des NUC à 100 boules avec du x86 dedans.
    Reste la partie bidouille, mais est-ce qu'elle justifie l'augmentation de puissance ? L'écosystème Arduino est plus fourni et moins cher.

    Bah la partie bidouille s'efface de plus en plus avec la montée en puissance du raspberry pi. Avant, le Rasperry touchait le ptit cœur tout mou des bricolos mais maintenant Ils ont l'air de miser sur les gens plus prompt à payer qu'à bidouiller. Par exemple, pour alimenter un Pi 4, c'est via un USB-C pas encore très répandu ou le GPIO que beaucoup n'utiliseront jamais. Même plus de POE. Conclusion il faut acheter une nouvelle alim.
    Ce qui aurait pu motiver des gens comme moi à passer à la caisse pour un autre Rpi, c'est la prise en charge d'un HDD SATA par exemple.

    Euh, le Pi1, le Pi2, le Pi3, le Pi4 (en 1G ont chacun été annoncés à 35£ à leur sortie. Oui, il y a désormais des versions plus fournies en RAM mais il y a toujours une version à 35£ qui reste un vrai upgrade par-rapport au Pi3. Un Pi2 n'existe qu'en model B (v1 avec un Cortex A7, v1.2 avec un Cortex 1.2) et se trouve toujours en neuf. Le POE est toujours dispo via une carte supplémentaire, comme avant (et oui, c'est la merde, mais ça n'a pas changé...). Et ils confirment que tu peux garder l'alim' précédente si tu n'utilises pas de périphériques type disque externe.

    Je te trouve bien dur avec ce nouveau modèle.
    Le prix du modèle B n'a pas changé depuis la version 1, ils proposent seulement des versions avec plus de RAM en option mais rien ne t'oblige à prendre la version 4Go.
    C'est sûr que si tu te poses en tant que propriétaire d'une ancienne version l'upgrade coute plus cher, mais pour quelqu'un qui découvrirait le raspberry pi je n'ai pas l'impression que cela soit plus cher aujourd'hui qu'en 2012.
    Le changement d'alimentation est largement justifié étant donné le gain en puissance et l'ajout de ports usb 3, à l'époque aussi j'avais dû acheter une alimentation pour le pi car les alimentations "classiques" style chargeur de téléphone n'étaient pas assez puissante.
    Pour moi il reste dans la lignée du modèle B, et pour les autres besoins il y a toujours le Zero qui reste très bien pour un tas de besoins.

    Coin coin à tous. N'ayant pas trouvé de topic dédié je pense connaitre la réponse, mais au cas où... Est-il autorisé de parler du système RecalBox (sur un Rasberry bien sur) pour poser des questions sur la configuration technique de ce dernier ? Ou est-ce qu'il est toujours considéré que cela relève de l'émulation donc d'utilisation potentiellement illégale et que donc NIET / VERBOTEN / Ban sur 17 générations ?
    Je donne un exemple de question : configuration de mapping de boutons "exotique" pour tel ou tel core ?

    Pas taper SVP, je n'ai retrouvé que ce topic où Doc TB avait l'air d'ouvrir une porte aux discussions purement techniques.

    Salut ! J'ai un pi3b b+ que j'utilise juste pour la zik et la vidéo.
    Mais depuis que j'ai internet le pi freeze au démarrage. Des fois il ne fait même pas la maj de l'heure et plante direct. J'ai fais une mise à jour mais ça ne change pas grand chose...
    Le pi est en wifi car trop loin de la box et j'y connais rien en ligne de commande...

    Hey,

    Le Pi a pas d'horloge interne donc il est obligé de contacter un serveur ntp à chaque démarrage pour récupérer la date et l'heure courante. D'ailleurs quand il reste éteint pendant un certain temps et qu'on le rallume sans avoir accès au net, ça peut parfois créer des bugs à la con. Mais bon ce genre de bug se produit en général dans des conditions très spécifiques et je doute que ton problème soit lié à ça.

    Il plante systématiquement au démarrage ou seulement une fois de temps à autre? Tu as utilisé quelle méthode pour configurer le wifi?

    Pour vérifier d'où vient le problème, et même sans grosse connaissance des lignes de commande, tu peux commencer par regarder les fichiers de log en ouvrant un terminal et en tapant :

    désolé je ne sais pas du tout interpreter ce genre de "dialogue".

    On m'a offert le pi a la suite de la perte de mon pc et je ne suis absolument pas familiarisé avec ce genre d'os.
    Et malheureusement le taf et les gosses me bouffe le peux de temps libre qui me reste...
    En plus chui une quiche en anglais donc dur de se renseigner sur le net...

    La ligne "Voltage normalised" indique un probleme d'alim. Tu devrais aussi avoir la led rouge qui clignote de temps en temps.
    Vérifie que ton alim est assez puissante (dans les 2A, c'est pas mal pour un pi3), et si t'es bon de ce coté, change de câble usb.

    Petite question bête, mais pour un pc de type bureautique sous linux un Raspberry 4 4Go ca peut suffire d'après vos tests ? Ou bien y a vraiment des lenteures et trop de bugs pour le moment sur la distrib raspbian ?
