CPU-Z 1.52 beta test

Hello,

CPU-Z 1.52 is on its way.
Here is a beta version for preliminary tests :

Please do not hesitate to post a register dump if you notice something wrong.

- New design with "Graphics" tab.
- NVIDIA nForce 980a chipset support.
- Intel Atom Z530, Pentium DC E6300 (2.8GHz) and Core 2 Solo processors.
- Intel P55 and US15W chipsets preliminary support.
- AMD Phenom X2 "Callisto" and Athlon X2 "Regor" processors.
- Improved support for AMD Opteron 6-core "Istanbul".
- Improved support for Windows 7.
- New Intel logos.

Btw cpuz shows direct x version 10.0 in about tab
I have vista sp2 and directx 10.1
Why cpuz shows diretx 10.0??

On the SPD tab, the timings tables align to the right. So if there's only 1 timing to show it's in the very right, if there's two, it's the two right colums, etc.

Attached is an image with 3 timings.

Mainboard Tab:
Sidebanding and Version are missing on the Graphic Interface.

Graphics Tab:
Shaders, Memory Size, Type and Bus Width for video card are greyed out.

In latest cpuz the bug i have found is that command rate is empty in every field
With 1.51 cpuz shows 2t with 1.52 an empty string

Well it reports the directX version still as 10.0 but in reality it's actually DirectX 11 ??

Even dxdiag says it's directx 11 ?

Also the dump says wrong values for the 12V line.

It says 9.93 Volts which should be 12,416 Volts

I've tested on a Dell computer and there are missings informations on the graphics part in motherboard tab and graphic tab. It's based on a i865 chipset. Here's a dump

I can post later a dump for an inspiron 8200 if you want for cpu-z and hardware monitor.

It's getting better. On the mainboard tab, it shows AGP version fine, but the Side Band is showing garbled characters. On the graphics tab, it is showing the GPU name only, and if I drop down to the "other" card, it shows the Code Name, Technology, REV and size of RAM on the card. Odd, considering there is only one AGP card.

Hi Franck,

I tested new 1.52 version on my Asus P5B-VM SE pc. See attached dump and screenshot. Three issues found:
- ATI 3400 memory type, shaders info empty
- CPU-Z shows GPU clock 110 / GPU-Z shows 594
- Memory tab is empty (has been so in previous versions too)

CPU-Z reports DirextX 10 because your Graphic Card supports only DirextX 10.
I have Windows 7 RC and dxdiag reports DirectX 11 too because Windows 7 supports DirectX 11 Graphic Cards. But there are still no DirectX 11 Cards on the market.

Unfortunately there is no 100% reliable way to tell the difference between the two sockets (especially if ddr2 is installed). Or at least no way that I know.

Everything is good with it, except there is no memory information other than size.

Edit: I noticed on the SD-11 Dump, the AGP should be 1.0 instead of 3.0, but that may be due to the video card I have in it. I am going to try a MX-400 AGP card in that machine and let you know if that information changes. (I think it will once the AGP is going 2x on that board.)
