Here is the official forum for CPU-Z (www.cpuid.com).
I'm suprised there isn't a thread on this, but all I ask is you post what type of CPU and what socket type for your system.
Athlon FX-60 Socket 939
Opteron 185 Socket 939
The already existing posts can be found here :
Q1: CPU-Z reports my CPU running below its clock specification or the clock speed is varying
A: This is the effect of C1E (Enhanced Halt State) and/or EIST (Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology) for Intel CPUs, and Cool'n'Quiet for AMD CPUs. Load your system and you will see the frequency increase to its nominal value.
Q2: CPU-Z reports a wrong CPU vcore.
A: Please download HWMonitor (http://www.cpuid.com/hwmonitor.php) then save monitoring data (menu file -> save monitoring data) and send...
according to AIDA64.......CPU-Z 1.64 display CPU VRM voltage, not CPU vcore:
One of my first few tweaks on the processor. Considering of getting a heatsink fan or perhaps liquid cooling. What would be a good heatsink fan?
When you click on the CPU badge on CPU-Z it shows the top 15 posted clock speeds posted for your cpu. Once you validate and post yours, how long does it take to show up on that list? My validation is online, but not in that list.
Its not under my username If i logon, i even associated it with the same email i use.
How do i do this? I can't resubmit.. it still says its private.. i need help Asap.
I have tried emailing support and have never received anything back...
Hi I want to learn how to make a program that will scan my motherboard and tell me what computer upgrade I need. So what I need to do is to search for computers that work with different types of mother boards online and just copy and paste them into a notepad and put .exe at the end of it? I have no idea how to program but I would like to know how. Thanks.

Ive been playing around with some overclocking, and was having trouble getting a stable OC. It would pass P95 n an 8 hour burn but would BSOD occasionally when playing Planetside 2.
Finally, I think I got a stable OC. Made it to the 4ghz plateau and OC'd my RAM from 1333 to 1600mhz. No BSODS, but I havent run a long term P95 test. I have done a max temp test which landed at 52c, but that was only occasional spikes. It liked to hover around 49c.
I provide my email address when I validate and they do not show up when I log into
They also do not show up when I submit the cpuz.cvf file direct from the website
and I supply my email address when I submit the cpuz.cvf file.
1) why does your forum refuse to accept my login on Chrome.
It says I'm logged in, but I can not post a new question.
Keeps telling me I'm not connected. Have to use IETab to let it work.
2) CPU-z shows varying core voltage 1.104 - 1.360 and varying CPU speed.
Sometimes even with 6 digits (do not believe that to be correct)
I have run the validator on my new PC and get a CPU frequency warning:
Name Intel Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
Threading 1 CPU - 4 Cores - 8 Threads
Since I don't have anymore the box, I need to know which RAM model so I can buy new one.
Where can I get the exact reference of my memories in SPD tab ?
I'm confuse between the data in Max Bandwidth and Part Number.
Which one is the good one ?
I have a question on the Max Bandwidth reading.
In CPU-Z slot 1 and 2 reads my Max Bandwidth as one thing but 3 and 4 as something else.
Where exactly does that info come from and why is it reading it differently?
Now I did read the Sticky on Please Read and saw that FAQ 1 mentions the Cool'N'Quiet can cause it CPU-Z to report different clock specification or clock speed.
Is that pertaining to the Max Bandwidth? If so would this happen if I have that turned off in the BIOS, because I...
old cooler master Mystique case, the case was 350 bucs ten years ago its all metal with thick machined aluminum doors on the front besides the gpu fans and the cpu fan there a 120 in the back and in the front the cpu got up t o 62C i wonder how much further i could crank it up. that
I double click cpuz then go to: About I have the Verified already: I push Submit I get an email and it comes on my screen with verified cpuz dump..... this is a cpuz dump above
can any one help me out...
basically I need to know how to post this to cpuz so I can be in the top 15, im already Verified with ID number
Thanks My Friends
CPUz Interface window is improperly sized. See image attached. I thought I might be able to correct the issue by reverting my desktop DPI to the default small vs the 115% I normally use with my 2560x1440 monitor but that had no effect. Then I thought I might be able to edit the config file but as you can see in the image there are three instances of CPU-Z running a standard edition with no issues and a ROG & OC versions the latter two which exhibit the behavior I'd like to see corrected. ...
I want to install windows 7 on my desktop pc but I can't. I must replace RAM on my pc because the one I have now is 512MB but I don't know if the new one is compatible with my motherboard. This is the specifications of my pc.

Threading 1 CPU - 1 Cores - 1 Threads

feature requests/enhancement requests to cpu-z, pc-wizard, perfmonitor2
both: cpu microcode patch version (would be helpful to know for support purposes) - is this available through UEFI? this is often updated through BIOS or UEFI updates.
pc-wizard: cpu temp
pc-wizard: support Marvell 9128 SATA controller when "unconfigured" (meaning not set up for disk caching or RAID). there are a number of things which don't support this. it doesn't show up via BIOS calls.

Every time I try to log into the validator website
I get this error message
Fatal error: Call to a member function openConnectionWithReturn() on a non-object in /home/validator/www/index.php on line 44
I even registered with a new login name and get the same error message with the password that was emailed to me.
I get a error while uploading my cpu stats
I made a few that day, all on cascade that isn't running now :(

Hi, how is this overclock on my asus p8p67 it is 24-7 stable and have been running at this speed since january
I saw some screen shots from xtreme systems, is that real?
CPU-Z used to be able to report Core Voltage on my computer but now it report Core VID instead. How to troubleshoot this issue?
I have just got a new bench and I am having an issue with my validation being rejected.
Why is this being rejected? What am I doing wrong?
This is what I am doing: I cannot get my benching PC hooked up to the internet so I save the validation file and upload it to http://valid.canardpc.com/ on my main PC and it the validation is continuously rejected for this benching rig. However, I did not get rejected when I have done this before...
I'd like to see the validations database of CPU-Z, but I cannot found a search engine or something else.
How can I fin, for example, all the I7 975 validations ?
Or All validations on December 25 of 2012
This is a long shot but here goes, I had the WR for the A64 3000+ Venice S754 many years ago: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php (83602)
It has apparently been beaten by: West-87 at 3264.5 mhz
The thing is though, that I had uploaded and verified another much higher verification...quite a bit over 3.3 ghz...which I was saving if my record were to be beat.
Obviously the validation number is now long gone. But it is leaving me wondering, is there any way to retrieve it? I...
thanks for start to fix memory XMP reading.
Latest beta today (.ini file deleted) display OK.
Is there still a way to upload scores made with v1.62.2?
I've got 7 socket A CPU-Z scores that I can't upload and I need to get the validation link in order to submit my scores on HWbot.
Would really help if could still upload those 7 files as it would take quite a while to get re-runs not to mention a lot of LN2.
Just to notify that the links for the stats on http://valid.canardpc.com/ are down. They all redirect to 404 pages of CPC. :/
My two cents.
My E5200 processor shows only one processor in the cpu-z, whereas in the Device Manager (Windows XP), it recognizes both cores. I also have another pc with the same windows installation and an E8500 processor. That one is correctly displayed in cpu-z.
In the BIOS of my Asus Commando motherboard (E5200), there are no settings that relate to disabling one of the cores, and the processor is properly displayed as far as I see (count 2).
See attachments. Any clues?
