Here is the official forum for CPU-Z (www.cpuid.com).
I'm suprised there isn't a thread on this, but all I ask is you post what type of CPU and what socket type for your system.
Athlon FX-60 Socket 939
Opteron 185 Socket 939
The already existing posts can be found here :
Q1: CPU-Z reports my CPU running below its clock specification or the clock speed is varying
A: This is the effect of C1E (Enhanced Halt State) and/or EIST (Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology) for Intel CPUs, and Cool'n'Quiet for AMD CPUs. Load your system and you will see the frequency increase to its nominal value.
Q2: CPU-Z reports a wrong CPU vcore.
A: Please download HWMonitor (http://www.cpuid.com/hwmonitor.php) then save monitoring data (menu file -> save monitoring data) and send...
I saw some screen shots from xtreme systems, is that real?
I've upgraded my system last year in December 2014, from an i5-2550k with 16GB DDR3 RAM to a new i7-5820k with 32GB of the new DDR4 RAM memory and i've submitted two dumps with CPU-Z v1.71, using the same email address i used before and when i logged into my valid.canardpc.com i was able to view only these two new dumps that i've submitted in december and january but i don't see all other previous dumps that i had from an old pentium or so - even the last i5-2550k cannot be found... even if i...
Thanks a lot. Useful information!

Hiya. I googled this and found one answer on this forum that was reassuring, but I'd still like if I could get a few others to let me know this is okay.
I validated my system, and on the validation result page, everything is fine, except that the CPU Frequency MHz value is in bold red.
On the other forum post a member named Rocca replied that this is normal and that it's bold because the CPU is in idle and not charging. Rocca also said you can test with logiciel OCCT. I assume this means...
according to AIDA64.......CPU-Z 1.64 display CPU VRM voltage, not CPU vcore:
CPU-Z didn't work in Windows 10.:huh:
I have i7-3970x with 64GB RAM on asus p9x79 deluxe v1 mobo.
/!\The error code 0x3 (3) occurred during initizlization.
Do you want to display the error log file?
path = C:\Users\JIM-MI~1\AppData\Local\Temp\
GetCurrentDirectory = C:\Program Files\CPUID\CPU-Z
GetModuleFileName = C:\Program Files\CPUID\CPU-Z\cpuz.exe
m_iOSVersion = 2 (6.1)
m_bIsAMD64 = 0
Anyone know what is reason for this nasty error on start? I don't want to bother Franck for this if someone else can help.
Lot of peeps had this problem for me its on:
CPU-Z 1.70.0 32bit ROG version Win7 (no OC o PC)
Happen when try to open second window. If i disable sensor in cpu-z.ini it work perfect. I think it's some kind HW issue or incompatibility, any clues ? Thankx!
With thanks! A lot of info!
Feel free to surf to my webpage: English page on Wikipedia
I provide my email address when I validate and they do not show up when I log into
They also do not show up when I submit the cpuz.cvf file direct from the website
and I supply my email address when I submit the cpuz.cvf file.

I just currently got a new GPU the Gerforce 660, the one I replaced was Geforce 240. Under memory only the Size is filled in with information.. Type and Bus Width are blank and also Shaders on the Clocks section is blank. On my old GPU I know more information was given. Now to my point, my GPU is not performing as well as I expected it to on D3, is it possible that a Bios update could help? and that is the reason not all the information is filled in?

Can't validate with 1.69.2 and is there a way I can get it validated been benching all morning for competition at HWBOT
This is driving me insane. I'm generally pretty quick at picking up things. I cannot figure out how to make my screenshot show up in my validation link. I can see the bmp in the application directory, but nothing I've done will attach the image to the validation.
Is there a way to see complete info on graphic card?
this is what I get:
Problem of recognition of my videocard (ASUS R9280X-DC2T-3GD5):

on website is showing processor is intel 3210
and in cpuz its showing two different processor variant
intel 3320 3230
thanks for wonderful program. got 2 questions:
1. why cpuz take so long to load on x79 win7 64bit?
2. why it can't change font text color to red(RR). only BB(Blue) is working so far.
Sorry of this has already been handled, I can't find any answer in the forum:
When running CPU-Z, only my Inter HD4600 integrated graphics is seen, not my nVidia one.
I suspect this is related to optimus but I coulnt find a way for CPU-Z to detect my other card. Is ther sometheng to do in the system or in the ini file ?
Not a real issue, would be nice to have...
Every time I click on Submit on the to do an online mode it crashes every time. :sad:
CPU-Z v1.68 ROG
Motherboard: Asus STRIKER II EXTREME
CPU: Intel Core2 Extreme CPU Q6800 @ 2.93GHz OC 3.50GHz.
RAM: 4 AENEON - 2048 MB (10700) Dual Channel, 8192 MB total.
One of my first few tweaks on the processor. Considering of getting a heatsink fan or perhaps liquid cooling. What would be a good heatsink fan?
When you click on the CPU badge on CPU-Z it shows the top 15 posted clock speeds posted for your cpu. Once you validate and post yours, how long does it take to show up on that list? My validation is online, but not in that list.
Its not under my username If i logon, i even associated it with the same email i use.
How do i do this? I can't resubmit.. it still says its private.. i need help Asap.
I have tried emailing support and have never received anything back...
Hi I want to learn how to make a program that will scan my motherboard and tell me what computer upgrade I need. So what I need to do is to search for computers that work with different types of mother boards online and just copy and paste them into a notepad and put .exe at the end of it? I have no idea how to program but I would like to know how. Thanks.

Ive been playing around with some overclocking, and was having trouble getting a stable OC. It would pass P95 n an 8 hour burn but would BSOD occasionally when playing Planetside 2.
Finally, I think I got a stable OC. Made it to the 4ghz plateau and OC'd my RAM from 1333 to 1600mhz. No BSODS, but I havent run a long term P95 test. I have done a max temp test which landed at 52c, but that was only occasional spikes. It liked to hover around 49c.
1) why does your forum refuse to accept my login on Chrome.
It says I'm logged in, but I can not post a new question.
Keeps telling me I'm not connected. Have to use IETab to let it work.
2) CPU-z shows varying core voltage 1.104 - 1.360 and varying CPU speed.
Sometimes even with 6 digits (do not believe that to be correct)
I have run the validator on my new PC and get a CPU frequency warning:
Name Intel Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
Threading 1 CPU - 4 Cores - 8 Threads
Since I don't have anymore the box, I need to know which RAM model so I can buy new one.
Where can I get the exact reference of my memories in SPD tab ?
I'm confuse between the data in Max Bandwidth and Part Number.
Which one is the good one ?
I have a question on the Max Bandwidth reading.
In CPU-Z slot 1 and 2 reads my Max Bandwidth as one thing but 3 and 4 as something else.
Where exactly does that info come from and why is it reading it differently?
Now I did read the Sticky on Please Read and saw that FAQ 1 mentions the Cool'N'Quiet can cause it CPU-Z to report different clock specification or clock speed.
Is that pertaining to the Max Bandwidth? If so would this happen if I have that turned off in the BIOS, because I...
