CPU-Z shows my Q9450 only clocked at 2ghz, but it's running at 3ghz. The multiplier is wrong. The CPU is set @ 9x334 but it's being shown as 6x333.

A: This is the effect of C1E (Enhanced Halt State) and/or EIST (Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology) for Intel CPUs, and Cool'n'Quiet for AMD CPUs. Load your system and you will see the frequency increase to its nominal value.
The system is under 100% load 24/7 and was under 100% load at the time of my original post. Still shows 2ghz.
