Voir la version complète : Memory Failure in ONE location only
Memtest failure on older 478 PC. Tested each stick seperately in both slots, no failures at all. Put both sticks in, get a memory failure at 885.3mb every time.
So it not the memory, and its not the dimms individually, any suggestions?

A system with one stick or a system with two sticks is a different system. Timings will be different, bus utilization will be different, memory interleaving can come into play, etc. etc. You cannot conclude your memory is ok from just testing with one module. More than likely you have a hardware issue, be it in the memory modules, motherboard, CPU, PSU, or even any other component connected to the PC. Treat this like any other hardware issue and diagnose by elimination of factors. Read the FAQ for some pointers and be aware that this forum is not intended for help with hardware issues.
