Problem with starting from a flash drive.

Hi

I made a DOS bootable USB key and copied mt210.exe to it.

When I now boot from this USB key into DOS and start mt210.exe, I can see only the first line with the blinking red cross and nothing more, no testing progress.

What could be the problem? Am I doing something wrong?

Try again, it may work.

And remove all unnessecary legacy device

Solved!

In config.sys I had active HIMEM.SYS and DOS=HIGH. After removing it, the test now starts OK.

Yes, you need a completly clean boot (without config.sys nor autoexec.bat) in order to run memtest.exe
